Lab Metrologist

Job Title: Lab Metrologist Location: Lothian, City of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Job Type: Permanent, full-time Primary Industry: Scientific and Pharmaceuticals Job Duties: Perform calibration and metrology activities in a laboratory setting Ensure all instruments and equipment are calibrated according to industry standards Maintain accurate records of calibration procedures and results Troubleshoot and resolve any calibration issues Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure quality control standards are met Required Qualifications: Degree in a relevant scientific field Proven experience in metrology and calibration Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent problem-solving skills Education: Degree in a relevant scientific field Experience: Previous experience in metrology and calibration Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of metrology principles and practises Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Proficient in using calibration software and equipment Preferred Qualifications: Certification in metrology or calibration Experience working in a pharmaceutical laboratory Working Conditions: The role is based in a laboratory environment.
