Import Controller - Kempton Park

Looking for mature, experienced Import Controllers who can work on their own. Strong customer service experience Excellent finance experience ie posting of supplier invoices Cargowise experience Essential Arranging forwarding and clearing of shipments for Sea and Airfreight shipments. Arranging the Forwarding with origin agents and booking shipments liaising with supplies and origin agents. Awaiting pre-alerts from origin agents. Arranging customs clearance once arrival notification, commercial invoice, packing list, clearing instruction and bill of ladings have been received. Generating invoices and ensuring invoices are posted every month end especially 30 days accounts clients. Arranging release for shipments detained by customs, SAPS, NRCS, Port Health, Plant inspection, State Vet and process of shipments released on an embargo release. Handling general cargo, refrigerator, perishable, break bulk and Hazardous cargo. Using Cargowise system
