Job Description
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Store General Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations, based in the Maldives. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead by example, inspire a team, and achieve business objectives. Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee daily store operations, including opening, closing, and adherence to company standards. Ensure the store meets all compliance, safety, and cleanliness standards. Sales and Profitability: Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities for growth. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor store staff to build a high-performing team. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure staff development. Foster a positive and motivating work environment. Customer Service: Ensure a superior customer experience by maintaining high service standards. Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively. Inventory and Stock Management: Oversee stock levels, ordering, and replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking. Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy. Financial Administration: Manage store budgets, including expenses, payroll, and financial reporting. Ensure accurate cash handling and banking procedures. Marketing and Merchandising: Implement promotional activities and maintain visually appealing displays. Monitor competitor activities and adjust store strategies accordingly. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive profitability. Strategic thinking with problem-solving and decision-making expertise. Proficiency in inventory management and financial reporting. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail management role, with at least 3 years in a general manager position. Proven track record of successfully managing a store or business unit. Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
