Storage QA Test Engineer - Manual Testing

We are looking out for Storage QA Testers with Manual Testing Experience. Location : Bengaluru. Experience : 5-10 years. JOB DESCRIPTION : - Bachelor's degree or higher in a computer science or engineering related field and 5-10 years of testing experience. Must : - Testing the complete storage solution. - Customer support experience or working on customer escalations highly desired Must. - Storage protocols (e.g NFS/SMB/CIFS), work with data storage concepts such as RAID, Snapshot, and file systems; designing, developing, executing, and maintaining test cases and procedures Must. - Should be familiar with any of the public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, VMWare) Must. - Understanding of Networking, Firewalls, IPv4/IPv6, etc. - Experience with white- box and black- box testing methodologies. - Knowledge of Kubernetes Good to have. - Hands-on experience in functional, system, performance and integration testing. - Knowledge and hands-on experience of deployment, setup and configuration of complex systems products. (storage domain will be highly preferred). - Well versed with set up and configurations of operating systems. - Strong knowledge in in Linux/UNIX computing environments. - Strong sense of customer empathy acting as catalyst and champion for quality. - Ability to prioritize defects and determine risk based on objective, metrics based data. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Strong team player with good communication skills and should be self-starter. - Excellent time management skills, with the ability to independently prioritize, multitask, and work under deadlines in a fast paced environment. - Proficiency in Shell programming language.
