Java Application Developer - W2 Contract Opportunity

Job Type: W2 Contract Only (No C2C/No 1099/NoCTH) Open for H1B transfers & offering Day 1 GC filing Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to build scalable and reliable systems. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Troubleshoot, test, and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and quality. Develop and integrate APIs and services to support business functionality. Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards. Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application stability. Continuously explore and implement new technologies and best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies. Participate in Agile development processes (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Java Developer (3 years preferred). Strong knowledge of Java and Java-based frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.). Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, or web services. Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra). Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins). Knowledge of microservices architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
