Solar O&M Technician

Location: Chicago area Description: Oversee the operations and maintenance of Utility Scale and large DG/ Community Scale Ground Mount Solar and Battery Storage projects across the area. Ensure proper troubleshooting solutions and create preventative measures to ensure longevity of the site You will also support junior technicians and provide electrical subject matter expertise on Solar projects Being able to maintain quality is important to the ethos of this organization- build it right the first time means less time for you to solve Travel: Need to be able to travel and be on the road as needed (within the specified area) Qualifications (Must haves): Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Utility Scale Solar or C&I Solar systems Experience leading a team or helping developing younger technicians Experience doing QA/QC (Quality Assurance/ Quality Control) Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License (not an Apprenticeship) Valid driver’s license Salary: $80,000 to $104,000 yearly performance bonus Benefits : Full health benefits (95% paid by company for you AND eligible dependents) 401k match (5%) 15 days PTO starting Work vehicle provided Various other benefits PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT an installer role. This is a technician role troubleshooting utility scale projects that are already in operations, not residential.
