Job Description

Position: SoC Architect Are you interested in defining the future of AI inference SoCs? Acceler8 Talent is seeking a SoC Architect for role in defining the I/O subsystem of cutting-edge AI inference SoCs at a well-funded Series A startup that spent years of research at Princeton preparing. As the Lead SoC Architect, you'll orchestrate application execution, optimize data transfer, and ensure peak performance. You will be creating an I/O subsystem with PCIe interfaces (SR-IOV support), high-speed DMA engines, multi-memory controller memory subsystem, and a RISC-V based multi-core CPU subsystem. This company is HQ in the Bay Area but they let you decide if you would like to work remotely, onsite or in office Your responsibilities: Craft specifications for PCIe Gen 4/5, LPDDR 4/5, and RISC-V sub-systems. Lead integration of various IPs. Drive PCIe and memory sub-system testing. Establish relationships with IP vendors. Collaborate with the PD team for timing closure and PPA goals. What you bring: BS/MS/Ph.D. in EE or CS. 10 years chip design experience. Proven success in large-scale SoCs. Proficiency in PCIe Gen 4/5, SR-IOV, FLR, PCIe driver development. Expertise in LPDDR 4/5 (HBM knowledge is a plus). Experience with processor-based SoC development and chip bring-up. Knowledge of post-silicon debug and design emulation (desired).
