Engineering Manager

Foster Lawson are currently partnered with an industry leader who are searching for an Engineering Manager at their facility in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will have Food & Beverage experience, as well as a track record of delivering Capex initiatives. Responsibilities Manage the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste. Lead and mentor the engineering team, ensuring proper training and development to meet operational goals. Oversee capital projects, such as installing new equipment or facility upgrades, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion. Ensure the facility adheres to safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental policies. Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting production lines and utilities. Manage the engineering budget, aiming to minimize costs without compromising quality or safety. Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations. Liaise with equipment suppliers and service providers to procure and maintain necessary resources. Stay updated on emerging technologies to identify and implement advancements that benefit the manufacturing process. Qualifications 10 years of relevant experience in a Food & Beverage manufacturing site 3 years of team leadership experience Bachelors Degree in Engineering
