Production Planner

About the Job: As a Planner/Buyer, you will coordinate planning and procurement for aerospace manufacturing projects, ensuring timely material availability, managing suppliers, and optimizing inventory. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning: Maintain production schedules based on demand and capacity. Coordinate material availability with production teams. Ensure materials meet specifications with engineering and QA. Material Planning: Align schedules with demand forecasts. Optimize inventory levels to balance availability and costs. Procurement Management: Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers. Manage purchase orders and track deliveries. Supplier Management: Maintain and monitor supplier relationships and performance. Inventory Control: Implement control measures and conduct audits for accuracy. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements. Stay informed on industry trends and advancements. Qualifications and Skills: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field. 5 years in aerospace procurement or supply chain management. Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Familiarity with aerospace regulatory requirements and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
