Management Accountant - 6 Month FTC Wakefield area£50,000 - £60,000 We are currently partnered with a fantastic business in the Wakefield area as they look to recruit an experienced Management Accountant into their team on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract. As a mentor of a full team the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the team are developing, learning and growing in their role.Key Responsibilities: Balance Sheet Management: Oversee and maintain the integrity of the balance sheet SG&A Analysis Team Mentoring and Support: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the team Banking Operations: Manage relationships with banks and ensure smooth banking transactions Treasury Management: Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management Year-End/Tax/Audit Support: Prepare and respond to year-end, tax, and audit requirements Statutory Bridge Knowledge: Apply expertise in statutory accounting and bridging adjustments VAT Management: Address and resolve current VAT-related issues Month-End Management Accounts: Prepare and review management accounts, including variance analysis What we are looking for: A qualified accountant A solution focused problem solver A self-starter Has the ability to maintain strong working relationships at all levels If you are immediately available and could be interested in this role then please get in touch with Kelly Johnson or apply now
