Interim Financial Systems Accountant - Civica Pay Day Rate: Circa £550.00 per day, inside IR35 so via Umbrella Location: Remote (minimal time required in Reading) Job Type: Contract (4 months initially) We are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Accountant with expertise in Civica Pay to join our dynamic Customer and Case Management programme team. This role involves enhancing our processes for receiving payments from the public, designing business processes, building functionality in Civica Pay, and implementing control functions across various customer payment channels. Day-to-day of the role: Design and optimise business processes for payment systems. Build and configure functionalities within Civica Pay to meet project requirements. Conduct thorough testing of the new systems and functionalities to ensure robustness. Implement control functions to manage a wide range of customer payment channels. Collaborate with the Financial Systems team to support the delivery of the project. Provide technical support and insights for continuous improvement of the payment systems. Areas in scope include payments for Archives, library donations, allotments, waste management services, event stalls, and bus pass replacements among others. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Financial Systems Accountant. Strong working knowledge of Civica Pay. Experience in designing and implementing business processes and control functions in financial systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
