Key Responsibilities of the Adoptions Manager As an Adoptions Manager , youll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transition of infrastructure works to statutory authorities, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. Your Key Duties Will Include : Bond Liability Management : Review and reduce bond liabilities systematically through structured programmes. Prioritise both quick wins and larger reductions while maintaining a comprehensive bond removal plan. Database Oversight : Use internal systems to track bond liability and identify triggers for reductions. Organise inspections and certificate applications, ensuring efficiency and cost control. Collaboration with Production Teams : Work closely with production teams to ensure all adoption standards for roads and sewers are met. Ensure the timely issuance of maintenance certificates ahead of project completion. Health & Safety Compliance : Review and approve all Health & Safety Method Statements and Risk Assessments before maintenance work begins. Reporting and Scheduling : Maintain accurate adoption schedules and ensure the division remains within agreed bond limits . What Were Looking For Were seeking a talented Adoptions Manager who brings: Relevant Experience : A strong background in a similar role with a housebuilder , housing developer , or Highway/Drainage Authority . Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of estate roads , sewer design , construction, and inspections. A proven ability to create schedules of work, bills of quantities, and tender analyses. Stakeholder Engagement : Strong relationships with statutory authorities and a commitment to delivering high-quality housing developments. Candidates must have experience in either drainage and highways; While prior experience in an Adoptions Engineer or Manager role is not mandatory, it would be considered advantageous.
