Children's Home Deputy Manager

Location: Wakefield (WF1) The Role: Seeking an experienced Children's Home Deputy Manager to join a therapeutic-led childrens residential care team. The role involves supporting the Registered Manager in running the home, ensuring compliance with care standards, supervising staff, and providing high-quality care for children and young people. Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership (or willingness to work toward it). At least 2 years of residential childcare experience, with supervisory responsibility. Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Driving license and flexibility to work weekends/bank holidays as required. Benefits: £40,000£45,000 salary with performance, signing, and yearly bonuses.
