Job Description

AJ Chambers is representing a top 15 firm in search of an Audit Assistant Manager. This firm builds strong, trusted client relationships and serves a diverse range of businesses, from entrepreneurs to multinational corporations. They offer a comprehensive suite of services across the UK, driving growth and long-term success. Your role Responsibilities Manage client correspondence, scheduling, and audit planning. Supervise and review work of senior and junior staff, ensuring the file is complete and all review points are addressed before it is passed to the partner and manager Handle critical audit areas and occasional advisory work Monitor budgets, deadlines, and progress on audits Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff Assist with business development, tenders, and networking Conduct client on-site visits and appraisals Involved in tenders and presentations on audits & accounts Your Qualifications needed ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience Strong audit experience (planning to completion) Up-to-date CPE and recent developments in accounting standards (SORP, FRS 102) Proficient in Excel, Word, Sage, CaseWare, and related software Supervisory experience and strong communication skills What do you get?
