Job Description
Physics Lecturer Hourly Rate: £30-£35 Location: West London Job Type: Temporary Ongoing, Part-time (17.5 hours across 4 days) We are currently seeking a dedicated Physics Lecturer for a temporary ongoing position at our client's Further Education college in West London. The role involves teaching Physics at GCSE, A Level, and BTEC levels. The timetable is in the process of being confirmed, offering flexible working hours across four days. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Physics to students at GCSE, A Level, and BTEC levels. Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards. Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. Provide academic support and guidance to students to enhance their understanding of Physics. Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and overall academic progress. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development. Required Skills & Qualifications: A degree in Physics or a closely related field. Proven teaching experience in Physics at GCSE, A Level, or BTEC levels. Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and educational practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
