Production Manager

My client is seeking a highly motivated Production Manager to join their established manufacturing team in Middlesbrough. They are in a strong position and have the investment and appetite for growth. We’re seeking someone who brings: Strong time management and prioritisation skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to guide and develop teams A desire to grow professionally and take on responsibilities Knowledge of Lean principles, MRP systems, and scheduling is essential As the Production Manager, you will: Oversee and improve manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards Drive continuous improvement using Lean and 5S principles Manage production workflows to ensure schedules and targets are met Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and engineering teams to support production needs Implement KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement Coach and train team members while maintaining a positive, productive work environment Liaise with management to resolve issues and align on priorities
