Maths Teacher

Overview: Equitas are seeking a committed full-time Maths/PSHCE Teacher. The successful candidate will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons in Maths and PSHCE, following pre-planned curriculums, and overseeing the marking and assessment of students’ work. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in Maths and PSHCE, ensuring alignment with the provided curriculum. Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to support academic progress. Deliver general cover lessons for other subjects, ensuring continuity in students’ learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders to support the broader needs of the school. Use allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time effectively to meet role objectives and manage workload. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Maths and/or PSHCE is highly desirable. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
