Hostel Cleanings Operative Grade 3

Who You Are You are a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with experience in domestic or commercial cleaning environments. You possess strong communication skills, both in person and via phone, and can work methodically and independently. You are committed to providing excellent customer service, aware of equality issues, and have an adaptable, positive attitude. A professional cleaning qualification and experience with industrial cleaning equipment are desirable. You are capable of traveling to different locations within Cardiff and hold a valid driving license, which would be beneficial. What the Job Involves The role involves delivering high-quality cleaning services in communal areas and individual flats within hostels across the city, supporting vulnerable families and individuals with complex needs. Duties include adhering to cleaning procedures, ensuring health and safety compliance, identifying and reporting repair needs, liaising with building staff and the hostel supervisor, and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will also participate in training to meet BICSc standards, support the use of emerging technology, and comply with council policies, including safeguarding training. This static post requires working from various city locations to meet the operational needs.
