History Teacher Annual Salary: £145 - £211 per day (depending on qualifications and experience) Location: Cambridgeshire Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves planning and marking responsibilities, working Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 15:30. The ideal candidate will have a passion for history and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging history lessons that meet curriculum standards. Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Develop and use a variety of teaching techniques and materials that reflect recent educational research. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a good learning environment. Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events. Continuously update personal knowledge of the subject area and pedagogic methods. Required Skills & Qualifications: Enhanced DBS for children and adults, or willingness to obtain one. Teaching qualifications such as QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) are preferred but not essential. Proven experience in teaching history or a related subject. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
