Secondary - Geography Teacher

Geography Teacher Annual Salary: £145 - £211 per day (depending on qualifications and experience) Location: Cambridgeshire Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves planning and marking responsibilities and offers a competitive daily rate based on qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for geography and education, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging geography lessons that comply with the curriculum. Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests. Attend staff meetings and training sessions to continually improve teaching practices. Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximise student learning. Required Skills & Qualifications: Enhanced DBS for children and adults, or willingness to obtain one. Teaching qualifications such as QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) are preferred but not essential. Proven experience in teaching geography or a related subject. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to engage and inspire students.
