Maths Teacher Annual Salary: £145 - £211 per day (depending on qualifications and experience) Location: Cambridgeshire Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves planning and marking responsibilities and offers a competitive daily rate based on qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to student learning. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons that cater to the needs of all students. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Maths curriculum and teaching practices. Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and academic performance. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a good and safe learning environment. Required Skills & Qualifications: Enhanced DBS for children and adults, or willingness to obtain one. Teaching qualifications (QTS and PGCE) are preferred but not essential. Proven experience in teaching Maths or a related subject. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to engage and inspire students.
