English Teacher Annual Salary: £145 - £211 per day (depending on qualifications and experience) Location: Cambridgeshire Job Type: Full-time We are seeking an English Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves planning and marking responsibilities and offers a competitive daily rate based on qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to student learning and development. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of all students. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the English curriculum and pedagogy. Mark and provide constructive feedback on student work. Create a stimulating and safe learning environment. Engage in continuous professional development activities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Enhanced DBS for children and adults, or willingness to obtain one. Teaching qualifications (QTS and PGCE) are preferred but not essential. Proven experience in teaching English, or a strong knowledge of the English language and literature. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
