MFL Teacher Location: St Neots Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Cover post until Easter 2025) Salary: £153 - £211 per day, depending on qualifications and experience Start Date: January 6th, 2025 We are seeking a dedicated MFL Teacher specialising in French and Spanish for a secondary school in St Neots. This is a temporary cover position until Easter 2025. The role involves full-time work, planning, and marking responsibilities, ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality language education. Day-to-day of the role: Teach French and Spanish to secondary school students. Prepare engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students. Carry out marking and feedback to students to facilitate progress. Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment. Assess and record students’ progress and prepare them for examinations. Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and experiences for students. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in French and Spanish. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages is highly desirable. Experience in teaching French and Spanish at secondary level. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to create an engaging and inclusive educational atmosphere.
