PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE AN ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE SC Cleared DevOps Engineer (Hybrid - Manchester/Newcastle) Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in Manchester or Newcastle office) Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum Clearance: SC Clearance Required We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This exciting opportunity offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home 3 days per week while collaborating with the team in either our Manchester or Newcastle office for 2 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or similar platforms. Automate deployment pipelines and manage continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline operations and improve application performance. Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Ensure infrastructure is secure, stable, and compliant with industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues swiftly to minimize downtime. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health of the infrastructure. Provide support and guidance to junior team members. Skills and Experience: Active SC Clearance (Essential) Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines , automation, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python , Bash , or Ruby . Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation . Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus , Grafana , or ELK Stack .
