Full Stack Engineer

Our client, a top-tier global hedge fund, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer, versed in React and Typescript and expertise in UI development. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer you will work directly with design, data and trading teams to play a pivotal role in developing crucial tools and platforms with cutting-edge technology for the fund, contributing directly to the success of the organisation. Key Responsibilities Application Development : Design and build responsive, high-performance front-end applications using React.js. Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs, real-time data streams, and ensure seamless end-to-end functionality. Maintain clean, reusable, and scalable code, adhering to best practices. User Experience (UX) : Work with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and efficient user interfaces tailored to trader workflows. Optimize performance to ensure fast rendering and responsiveness for real-time financial data. Qualifications Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency in React.js and associated libraries (e.g., Redux, React Query, Context API). Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, and modern front-end development practices. Experience with state management, component lifecycles, and performance optimization. Knowledge of front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and GraphQL.
