Job Description

An Analog Layout Engineer will join an exciting Semiconductor start-up bringing a Electronics Degree, experience in the layout of high-speed circuits and extensive experience in custom analog layout of circuits and blocks. This innovative Semiconductor Company is pushing the boundaries in high-speed chip-chip link solutions, meeting the demands of the evolving electronics industry. Key Technical requirements for the Analog Layout Engineer include: Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Microelectronics or Electrical Engineering. Expertise in layout of high speed/frequency circuits including amplifiers, phase-lock loops, oscillators etc. and other building blocks such as buffers, regulators and biasing. Experience in custom analog layout of circuits and blocks for multi-Gigabit serial data-link transceivers. Knowledge of modern semiconductor process technologies including 16nm, 7nm and 5nm. Using EDA tools for design and verification such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre/HSpice, DRC/LVS. An understanding of parasitic extraction and modelling, Electro migration, IR drop and ESD requirements.
