Embedded Software Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role is part of an Electronic Warfare (EW) programme and offers hybrid working arrangements. Candidates must be SC cleared or able to obtain SC clearance. Key Responsibilities: Developing embedded software using C/C++ within an Electronic Warfare context Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software solutions Writing and maintaining efficient and reliable code Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback Ensuring software meets all requirements and industry standards Debugging and resolving software issues Documenting software development processes and technical specifications Adhering to project deadlines and milestones Job Requirements: Experience in embedded software engineering Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ Understanding of software engineering principles and practices Experience within the Defence & Security sector, particularly in EW programmes, is highly beneficial Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment SC clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance If you are an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in Embedded C/C++ and are looking for an exciting contract opportunity within the Defence & Security sector, we would love to hear from you.
