Primary/Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant Day Rate: £90-£95 Location: Horsham Own transport required due to location Availability: Full-Time Working Hours: 08:30-15:15, Mon-Fri We are currently recruiting for a SEN school in the Horsham area which cater for both primary and secondary aged pupils. The position is a great opportunity to grow your skillset and create positive change for young people whilst contributing towards a nurturing and therapeutic environment. Day to Day of the role Support teachers and work alongside other support staff and therapists to deliver a tailored curriculum. Help prepare learning materials and facilitate classroom activities. Address the emotional and physical needs of pupils, aiding their development and engagement. Provide hands-on support and supervision, both indoors and outdoors, to pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Contribute to the pupils’ learning journeys, guiding them to exceed their potential. Required Skills & Qualifications GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Experience with SEN and working within a school environment. Adaptability to work in various classroom roles and settings. A caring and responsive approach to supporting pupils with complex needs.
