Steel Operative

A Steel Operative is required for a multi-national steel processing company based in West Bromwich. Operating overhead cranes to move steel around the workplace, feeding the machine lines and loading/unloading vehicles for dispatch. You will be using the coil crane to handle steel coils, using the c-hook attachment. Duties of the role include; Operating overhead cranes to handle steel coils Using crane attachments including c-hooks Operating counterbalance forklift trucks Helping to load and unload machines Loading and unloading vehicles for delivery Any other duties as and when required You will be working on a rotating shift pattern of; Monday - Friday 6am - 4pm (1pm finish Fridays) Monday - Thursday 6pm - 6am This role will be; Working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities Weekly pay whilst on the agency Paying £13.42 on the day shift & £15.25 on the night shift If you live locally to the West Bromwich area, have previous experience of working in a similar role and have used an overhead crane, please Apply to start your application.
