Management Accountant

This Management Accountant position offers exposure across multiple financial disciplines, including management accounting, business partnering, and process improvement projects. You'll have direct exposure to senior stakeholders including non-financial as part of a lean finance team. Client Details Our client is a large and well-established retail company based in the Warrington area. Description This role will involve a large amount of exposure to non-financial stakeholders as it has a commercial element. Your role will include although will not be limited to: Business partnering with Managers and assisting with forecasts Preparing and reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations Preparing management accounts for each site dotted across the UK (no travel required, split out geographically between the team) Producing a monthly Board and shareholders report Performing analysis reviews to identify any errors / discrepancies Assisting with new acquisitions Supporting with statutory accounts / audit, VAT, etc. (limited, although option to pick more of this up if preferred) Profile A successful Management Accountant should: Possess a relevant CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification or be at the very end of your studies and possess relevant experience Be a logical thinker with excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy Have good communication skills with the ability to share insights with stakeholders in a clear manner Possess great organisational skills Have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Job Offer Salary in the region of £45,000 to £55,000, level dependent on experience plus bonus (circa 10%) Based from the offices in Warrington Flexibility with hours worked (able to start early / finish early etc. to fit around other commitments) Development opportunities and career growth encouraged 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Enhanced employer pension contribution
