Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Manage the monthly consolidation, review, and analysis of Group financial data, providing detailed commentary and preparing Exco and Board packs. Oversee monthly cash flow consolidation, including review and analysis of Group cash forecasts and preparing comprehensive commentary. Supervise cash-flow management, focusing on debtors, creditors, forecasting, and approval of payments. Lead the annual budgeting process for the Group, including consolidation, review, analysis, and reporting. Guide the quarterly forecast process, ensuring appropriate consolidation, review, and detailed reporting. Control and review corporate overheads on a monthly basis, ensuring budget adherence. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including VAT, PAYE, Customs, and Income Tax. Manage the annual statutory audit process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial statements. Oversee governance by codifying and implementing financial systems, processes, and controls. Manage accounting policies and ensure they are up-to-date and compliant. Required Qualifications and Experience: CA(SA) qualification and registration. Minimum 5 years experience in a finance management role. At least 3 years of experience in group consolidations. Experience with large organizations, preferably with annual revenues of R2 billion or more. Previous experience in the infrastructure project sector is highly preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong knowledge of IFRS, particularly group consolidations. Familiarity with BuildSmart and Finnivo is a significant advantage. High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership capabilities, including staff management. Experience with process optimization and driving continuous improvement. Behavioral Competencies: Ability to adapt to change and innovate. Strong analytical mindset with a focus on detail and deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Compensation: Market-related salary, based on experience.
