Automation Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium and Playwright to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of professional experience in automated testing, with a strong focus on web application testing using Selenium and Playwright frameworks. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing processes. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright frameworks. Collaborate with software developers and quality assurance teams to define test cases and acceptance criteria. Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues. Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions. Identify opportunities for test automation and implement efficient solutions to improve testing processes Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, providing detailed reports and recommendations for resolution. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and apply them to enhance our testing strategies. Contribute to the overall improvement of software development processes by advocating for test automation principles and quality standards. Mentor junior members of the team and provide guidance on test automation best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4 - 6 years of professional experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation. Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Playwright frameworks for web application testing. Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Familiarity with test automation tools like TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, or Jasmine. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for test automation scripts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
