Temporary Resource Lead Location: Brackmills Industrial Estate, Hardingstone, Northampton NN4, UK Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) About us: Were an award-winning, market-leading 3PL specialising in high-quality order fulfilment and delivery services. About the Role: Were on the lookout for a Temporary Resource Lead to join us on a permanent basis and take charge of our temporary staffing strategy and agency relationships. This is your chance to drive efficiency, ensure our teams are always fully staffed, and play a vital role in the smooth running of our operations. Youll report directly to the Recruitment Manager and work closely with internal teams and external agencies to tackle last-minute staffing needs, monitor performance, and ensure we meet operational targets. From onboarding new temps to handling supplier performance and recruitment projects, youll be the go-to expert making sure our business runs smoothly. If you thrive in a high-energy environment, love solving problems, and are passionate about resource management, we want to hear from you What Youll Be Doing: - Managing Agency Relationships: Build strong partnerships with staffing agencies to ensure performance meets our operational needs, while also identifying cost-saving opportunities. - Coordinating Staffing Needs: Collaborate with operational teams to meet staffing requirements, ensuring shifts are covered and temp staff are onboarded/offboarded seamlessly. - Tracking Performance: Keep a close eye on staffing metrics (attendance, fill rates, etc.), resolve issues quickly, and ensure that payroll and invoicing are on time. - Collaborating & Communicating: Be the main point of contact for any staffing-related queries, keeping everyonefrom internal teams to external agenciesaligned and informed. - Ensuring Compliance & Best Practice: Make sure were always compliant with UK employment law and company policies, while driving diversity and inclusion in our staffing approach. - Recruitment Projects & Early Careers: Lead recruitment for casual/seasonal workers and early career roles (apprentices, graduates, etc.), while identifying passive talent for key positions. What Were Looking For: - Experience: Proven track record in staffing coordination, resource management, or agency management, ideally in a logistics or fast-paced environment. - Organisational Skills: Exceptional at managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting with a problem-solving mindset. - Proactive & Resilient: You stay calm under pressure and can handle last-minute staffing changes with ease. - Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using workforce management tools and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) to track metrics, report on performance, and drive data-driven decisions. - Knowledgeable: Strong understanding of UK employment law and best practices in recruitment. - Excellent Communicator: Have the ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and communicate clearly with internal teams and external suppliers. - Travel Flexibility: Willing to travel to other ILG sites as needed.
