Management Accountant

Are you a dynamic Management Accountant who has good experience leading processes and month-end? A fast-growing business based in Braintree are looking for someone to help with the management accounting cycle for an initial short-term period while they restructure the wider finance team? This opportunity has scope to go permanent and is offering hybrid working, the chance to gain large company exposure and become an integral part of a growing business. As a Management Accountant you will be: Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflows Monthly cost reporting Produce and issue contract performance reports. Preparation of monthly reporting packs Assisting with the set up for operations, including integration of information to accounting system. Assisting with process set up. VAT returns Bank reconciliations. Ensure the accounting systems is kept fully up to date with accurate information. Providing financial reporting information to other departments as required Board reporting, KPIs and Order Books Asset reconciliation and depreciation (balance sheets) Implement Finance strategies within the organisation alongside business leaders. Identify and review processes to continuously improve standard working methods within the Finance team. Implement business change.
