Why Join us Working as a claim handler in our recovery department. You will be collaborating with the team to ensure that portfolio is managed in an efficient manner ensuring that we recover our full costs in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities - What you will do: Manage customer expectations providing realistic time frames. Assess liability and make decisions around this to ensure we are working towards the best outcome Manage a portfolio of claims working to KPI’s. Ensure that complaints are recorded on the complaints system in an accurate and timely manner. Pass all audits at 95% or above Pursue recovery of our Insurer Clients’ outlay where liability on a claim may be attributed to a third party. Provide guidance and direction to claims staff to ensure the recovery prospects on cases are safeguarded as far as possible Person Specification Experience & Knowledge 1 year working in motor insurance in a FNOL role or similar Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good organisational skills Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines PC literate with good administrative skills Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary Personality & Motivation Helpfulness and a passion for customer service High energy levels Positive approach Team player Drive and enthusiasm for meeting targets Empathy and understanding Confidence & a professional attitude In return, we can offer you: Basic Salary £24-27,000 (DOE) as well as market leading benefits. 25 days Annual leave plus statutory holidays.
