Role Description We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join us at our Horsham branch. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, driving sales, and ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner. It is essential that you have experience selling building materials for this position but there more to it than that – you will need to be a team player who wants to get involved in all aspects of the branch. You will be a crucial part of a small team and you will have the opportunity to cover transport planning, stock management and warehouse/yard organisation as part of your role. The successful candidate will be results driven and business focused with strong communication and negotiation skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service. You will have two years’ minimum background in the construction supply or building materials sector, ideally with experience in civils and groundworks. The ability to drive a forklift is an advantage. Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri Holiday: 22 days per year plus Bank Holidays Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme Requirements Sales experience and the ability to achieve results and hit targets Experience in the Builders Merchants industry, ideally with a knowledge of civils Ability to drive a forklift/willingness to learn Commitment to delivering and maintaining fantastic customer service Ability to work in a team and to contribute to a dynamic team environment Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency Eligible to work in the UK
