This company have gone from strength to strength in developing and commercialising their Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) and Lentiviral vectors (LVV) analytical equipment which provides new forms of biomolecular characterisation. You will be joining a company as they scale-up their commercialisation with their revolutionary technology. A Market Development Manager is sought to drive the adoption and market positioning of analytical instruments in the Life Science sector, focusing on cell and gene therapy. This pivotal role involves identifying new opportunities, developing innovative applications, and influencing product strategy to align with industry needs. The Manager will collaborate closely with product management, marketing, and field operations to execute strategies positioning the company as a leader in analytical technologies. Market Development Manager – Cell & Gene Therapy Location: Oxford (hybrid working) Salary: We anticipate in the region of £50,000 - £65,000 Benefits: 25 Fays Annual Leave, 7% Pension, Enhanced Parental Leave, Private Health Insurance, Income Protection, Life Insurance, and many more. Key Responsibilities: Identify emerging trends, technologies, and applications, translating insights into actionable strategies. Develop market entry plans and strategic partnerships with biopharma companies and research institutions. Drive novel applications for existing solutions across academic and biopharma workflows, from discovery to manufacturing. Lead collaborations with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and conduct competitive analysis. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies with cross-functional teams. Provide market intelligence to support sales strategies and strategic partnerships. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and author thought leadership content. Qualifications: Advanced degree in a life science field or business with a focus on cell and gene therapy. Strong understanding of life science workflows, regulatory environments, and industry trends. 3 years in market development, sales, or product management within biopharma. Proven success in driving market growth and strategic initiatives. Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling value propositions. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to travel up to 30%.
