This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands on experience while studying towards a recognised qualification HR and Payroll Apprentice Roles and Responsibilities: Assist in processing payroll, including wages, overtime and deductions – attention to detail is key for ensuring accuracy in payments and when resolving discrepancies Supporting HR tasks including employee record management, onboarding new hires, Offboarding and processing employment paperwork - Personnel related queries may be in regards to benefits, policies and other matters Learn and adhere to employment laws and regulations related to HR and payroll Administrative duties may include the generation of reports related to payroll, attendance, and HR statistics Use HR management systems and payroll software to manage employee data The ideal HR and Payroll Apprentice will: The candidate must be able to commute to both the companies Cheddar branch and Strode College in Street, Somerset Eagerness to learn Strong attention to detail, able to handle sensitive employee data with discretion 8:00am – 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 27 years.
