Job Title: Finance Business Partner Location: Canterbury Job Type: Full-time (35 hours per week) Salary: £30-£35,000 About Us: Our client is a leader in providing exceptional care and support. Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to join our busy finance team. In this role, you will oversee month-end procedures, prepare management accounts, and support budget managers. You will also manage a Finance Assistant and ensure high standards in all tasks, including VAT returns and control account reconciliations. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee month-end procedures and prepare monthly management accounts.- Prepare accruals and prepayments.- Line manage a Finance Assistant.- Conduct control account reconciliations, including inter-company accounts.- Collaborate with budget managers to review expenditure and income.- Quality check VAT returns. About You: To excel in this role, you should:- Be AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.- Have a good standard of secondary education, including a minimum of grade C in Maths and English GCSEs.- Possess a general understanding of finance and ledger work.- Be analytical with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.- Have credit control experience.
