Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their Fabrication department and contribute to their reputation for high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: TIG weld stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium to a high standard while adhering to engineering drawings. Weld box section frames and assemblies with precision and tight tolerances. Ensure all manufactured parts conform to issued drawings and work instructions. Complete tasks within allocated budgeted hours. Assist in developing new products to meet customer requirements, including fabricating jigs and fixtures as needed. Perform general sheet metal fabrication and finishing tasks. Skills and Attributes: Proven TIG welding ability with excellent attention to detail. Competent in completing documentation to aerospace standards (AS 9100) and following written and verbal instructions. Ability to interpret and follow customer drawings accurately. Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment. Strong teamwork ethic and good communication skills.
