Job Description
Our client, a leading innovator in the FinTech and payments industry , is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team in London. This permanent role is ideal for a professional with min 5 years of experience in business development within FinTech or payments. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving new business acquisition and fostering strong relationships with existing clients to maximize growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities New Business Development Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the FinTech and payments market. Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and areas for expansion. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations to prospective clients. Client Relationship Management (Farming) Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing client queries and providing tailored solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless client onboarding and support services. Monitor client performance and feedback, ensuring continuous improvement of offerings. Strategic Contribution Work closely with senior leadership to align business development strategies with overall company objectives. Provide insights and recommendations based on client feedback and market trends. Track and report sales metrics, including pipeline activity, deal progress, and revenue forecasts. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have: 5-10 years of experience in business development within the FinTech or payments industry. Proven success in driving new business and managing client accounts. Strong understanding of the FinTech ecosystem and payment solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders. A self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
