Job Description
Role: Senior Business Development Executive Salary: £30-35k (dependent on Sales experience) OTE: plus 40k uncapped Location: Manchester Sector: Sports/Media The Company : Our client connects local businesses with some of the biggest names in sports through innovative, community-focused partner programs. With a proven track record spanning the Premier League, EFL, NFL, NBA, NHL and MLS, their partnerships offer an accessible platform for local businesses in a market traditionally reserved for national and global brands. They are looking for a Partnerships Executive to join the growing partnerships team. The role will play a key part within the team who manage relationships with new businesses globally, mainly within the US & UK. Key Responsibilities: • Win new accounts through outbound prospecting. • Lead the day-to-day relationships with key stakeholders at selected teams across the globe. • Ensure the smooth delivery of all deals, tracking performance and demonstrating return on investment for each client. • Strong internal communication with key stakeholders, representing the Partnerships Team in cross-departmental forums as required. • Support the Partnerships Events Team to deliver best-in-class events for brand partners. • Production of weekly reports, communications and presentations to support the delivery of each partnership, and ad hoc projects as required. Abou t you: • Proven track record in B2B sales and overachieving on targets. • An effective operator who is personable, detailed and a strong communicator both written and verbally. • A problem solver with a can-do attitude who is adaptable and eager to be involved across several different areas and functions of the business. • Self-motivated, but driven by team success and able to operate in a highly collaborative environment. • A capability to negotiate and be able to hold sensitive and challenging discussions on occasion. • Negotiating sponsorship agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms. • Understanding of sports marketing strategies and branding principles.
