Integration Engineer

Integration Engineer Hybrid (3 days per week on-site) Salary: £40k Shares (annually) Excellent Benefits My client is a leading Cloud provider that provide an optimised service model for fast, private cloud compute & connectivity. They have an excellent opportunity for an Integration Engineer to join their growing Integration and Delivery team. In this role, you will be designing, delivering and supporting innovative solutions for clients in the electronic trading sector, built on the clients' suite of products. The role ranges from requirements gathering and analysis through to conducting client trials, full deployment, configuration and integration of solutions. The successful candidate will balance problem solving and customer facing skills with the ability to contribute to product development and deployment, through targeted technical and process development. This is a hands-on role in a small team requiring leadership and mentoring skills and combining people and project management skills with direct delivery and support to external clients. Responsibilities extend to running, and being responsible for, the success of customer facing implementation projects. This may, on occasion, combine working at client sites with office-based work, as best suits the needs and phase of the project. Specific responsibilities include: Work on complex, high-volume, real-time systems and application integration projects for clients across financial services Deliver reliable, maintainable projects to new and existing clients Play an active part in the design of novel solutions to meet emerging business requirements Contribute to the evolution of best practices Perform custom integration tasks Coordinate with the software development team for bug fixes and enhancement requests Provide technical support for existing clients, and to other members of the team: Handle field inquiries and technical issues from production clients, Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Take responsibility for the quality of the technical delivery of your work. Required Experience 3 years of strong Software Delivery or Integration Engineering experience Technical problem solving mind-set Organised independent thinker who will pro-actively seek help to maximise efficiency Development background Linux, bash and scripting experience Familiarity with network technologies, TCP Quality focused individual, eager to contribute in a team-oriented environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written Desirable Java experience (coding or deployment) Integration experience: Kafka / Keycloack / SSO / Webauth Grafana/data visualisation Database experience Wire protocols experience If this is a role you're interested in and have some of the desired experience / skills, please get in touch to discuss the role further.
