Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our Client are a leading Tier One Main Contractor who specialise in projects for Schools, Healthcare, MoD, Life Sciences and Commercial Projects across the UK. They pride themselves on delivering high quality projects and have seen themselves grow continuously year on year They are now looking to hire an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based on a new build mixed used scheme in Surrey. You will be the lead surveyor working within a team of 4. Ideal Candidates should: Have a proven track record of being a Senior Quantity Surveyor being the No1 Surveyor on projects between £10million - £40million HNC / Degree Educated in Commercial Management Have experience using COINS/Sphere or another similar CMS Have a positive, hard working attitude towards work Duties will include: Prepare detailed Quantity Surveying reports for various projects Conduct feasibility studies to estimate the cost of potential construction projects Manage procurement processes, including preparing tender documents and analysing bids Provide accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects Monitor project progress and provide financial reports to stakeholders Attend project meetings, providing expert advice on cost implications and issues Oversee and mentor junior quantity surveyors, fostering professional development and skill enhancement
