Junior Company Secretary/ Paralegal

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the General Counsel in a multifaceted role, supporting legal and compliance functions across the organisation. As part of a small but highly collaborative team, you will assist with company secretarial aspects, governance, and legal operations, as well as provide broader support to the AML Officer and other compliance team members. Key responsibilities include maintaining the organisation’s entity tracker system, assisting with AML/KYC requests, and managing the formation and dissolution of entities globally. You will also draft and maintain documents such as operating agreements, minutes, and governance reports. Beyond these core duties, you will support various legal projects, including global employment and privacy policies, liaising with external counsel on matters such as employment, immigration, and corporate issues, and assisting deal teams with venture capital and credit deals. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and willing to assist across a wide range of legal and compliance matters, demonstrating adaptability and initiative. - Experience in a paralegal or similar role, with a solid understanding of corporate governance or compliance processes. - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and drafting skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - A keen interest in expanding knowledge in areas such as AML, KYC, and corporate law.
