Job Title: Contract Management Officer Duration: Temporary for 4 month's Company: Warwickshire County Council Hours: Monday to Friday - 37 hours a week Location: Warwick/Hybrid Salary: £22.13ph Start Date: January 2025 About the Role Are you passionate about driving high-quality, cost-effective services and achieving meaningful outcomes? Join our clients dynamic Contract Management and Quality Assurance Team as a Contract Management Officer and play a vital role in ensuring commissioned services deliver value and meet the needs of Warwickshire citizens.In this role, you will lead contract management activities for a defined portfolio, working closely with stakeholders to monitor, evaluate, and improve service delivery. You'll use evidence-based approaches to shape markets and foster robust partnerships, ensuring services align with their high standards and strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Deliver effective contract management in line with the Council's framework. Monitor and analyze contract performance, ensuring timely reporting and compliance. Manage supplier relationships, driving improvements and addressing non-compliance. Support contract mobilization, delivery, and exit strategies. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to shape and develop markets. Use a risk management approach to deploy resources effectively across diverse contracts. About You A relevant contract management qualification (e.g., CIPS, CIPFA, IACCM Level 4 or higher) and 3 years of contract/category management experience. Expertise in contract management, procurement legislation, and market innovation. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Advanced IT proficiency, including the ability to analyze data and prepare reports. Experience addressing performance issues and managing challenging conversations.
