Job Purpose As a Tax Manager, you will take ownership of a client portfolio, ensuring exceptional service delivery across both compliance and advisory work. Key responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of approximately 280 personal tax clients Leading the preparation and review of personal tax returns (approximately 80% compliance) Providing bespoke advisory services, including capital gains tax planning and ad hoc tax matters (approximately 20% advisory) Ensuring compliance and deadlines are met for all clients Acting as the main client contact, addressing queries, and offering proactive solutions Identifying opportunities for tax planning to add value to clients Supporting and mentoring junior team members to nurture their professional growth Keeping up-to-date with tax legislation and advising clients on relevant changes About The Firm Based in Chafford Hundred, this accountancy practice is known for its high-quality personal tax services and client-focused approach.
