Credit Controller

JOB TITLE: Credit Controller LOCATION: Rickmansworth SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 Basic (dependent on experience) HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM The COMPANY Our client is an independent family-owned builders and timber merchant offering a wide range of supplies, including building materials, roofing timber and steel. They are currently looking for a Credit Controller to join their expanding team. The ROLE As a Credit Controller, your responsibilities are to: Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers. Develop and implement effective credit policies. Ensure accurate and timely issuance of invoices to customers. Track customer accounts for overdue payments. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes. Control cash flow management. CANDIDATE Our client is looking for a strong Credit Controller with the following experience and attributes: Experience in a credit control position. Strong understanding of credit management, financial analysis, and risk assessment. Good attention to detail. Ability to balance enforcing payment terms with maintaining positive client relationships. Familiarity with financial software, as well as relevant compliance standards.
