Personal Tax Senior

Clark Wood is thrilled to present an excellent opportunity for a Personal Tax Senior to join a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm based in Eastbourne. This exciting position allows you to work with a wide-ranging client portfolio, handling both tax compliance and advisory services. You’ll be an integral part of a proactive and professional team, enhancing your technical expertise while contributing to the firm's growth. Key Responsibilities• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including sole traders, landlords, high-net-worth individuals, and partnerships.• Prepare and submit accurate personal tax returns and computations.• Liaise with HMRC on compliance, enquiries, and other tax matters.• Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to clients.• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.• Collaborate with senior staff on complex advisory projects. Candidate Requirements• Demonstrable experience in personal tax, ideally gained within an accountancy practice.• Qualified ATT or equivalent; progress toward CTA or CTA qualification is advantageous.• Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance and planning.• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build client relationships.• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
