Job Purpose As a Tax Manager, you will take ownership of a client portfolio, ensuring exceptional service delivery across both compliance and advisory work. Key responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of around 280 personal tax clients Leading the preparation and review of personal tax returns (approximately 80% compliance) Delivering tailored advisory services, including capital gains tax planning and ad hoc tax matters (approximately 20% advisory) Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, offering proactive solutions and addressing queries Identifying opportunities for tax planning to add value to clients’ services Supporting and mentoring junior team members to foster their development Keeping up-to-date with tax legislation changes and advising clients accordingly About The Firm This well-established accountancy practice in South Ockendon is renowned for its commitment to delivering outstanding personal tax services.
